Maybe we still remembers the "Music for one apartment and six drummers ", a piece in four movements whose representation was filmed a few years ago (2001 apparently), which showed the percussionists take a few minutes of an apartment to make music with everyday objects: switches, toothbrushes , perfume atomizers, glasses ...
Drummers come to set foot in the stirrup for a feature film this time, which is released in late December ( an excerpt here). This is unheard of, sort of delirious thriller where terrorists try to musicians in a city full of instruments of music. There were only Swedes to invent this sort of Fight Club for percussionists quite surreal, and certainly enjoyable, especially for drummers of course, but also for others. If the scenario is perhaps a little loose, which prevents from considering the film as a pure masterpiece, one can only admire the ingenuity of the scriptwriters.
